Fifth energy account: the yellow of the GSE meter

Yellow on the website of the Energy Services Operator. The photovoltaic meter has strangely changed its figures but the GSE attributes these changes to a potential technical problem

He is about to end up run over, his mother saves him

fifth energy tale. The story is tinged with yellow. Waiting for the Government pronounce on changes to be made to the draft of the photovoltaic decree, something strange happened on the website of the Energy Services Manager.

Il photovoltaic meter, now close to the infamous 6 billion euros of incentives, a few days ago he would suddenly have suffered one change of the figures. She took it over Photon, following some reports from users, noticing the change. A case, many ask?

According to what the site explains, until the late afternoon of last June 26, the GSE meter showed, for all the four Conto Energia so far, one total cumulative power equal to 13,616 gigawatts, distributed over 373.987 plants for an annual cost of 5,792 billion EUR. Subsequently and apparently without a plausible explanation, these values would have passed to an overall cumulative power equal to 12,948 gigawatts, distributed over 337.840 plants for an annual cost of 5,602 billion EUR. Almost 200 million euros of difference. On the other hand, the box relating to the additional 50 million euros of annual expenditure theoretically reserved for plants not yet connected to the network but included in the large plant registers remained unchanged.

In a particular moment like this, the lapse of the counter should not be underestimated. It has been feared for some time rush to the facilities to take advantage of the incentives provided for by the fourth energy account, pending the launch of the fifth. But by lowering this threshold, could the race be “forcibly” slowed down? And what's the point?

Il gse however he immediately clarified the story by explaining in one note that after having carried out some checks following user reports "the changes found could be attributable to problems with the providers or browser cache". Strictly technical problems, linked to the site. Nothing more.

The Energy Services Operator specifies that the counter PV allows you to view the number of plants in operation, the installed power and the annual cost of the incentives relating to each Energy Account. For the Fourth Energy Account, it is fed daily on the basis of incentive requests (and related incentive bonuses) presented by the responsible parties.

So, according to the GSE, these figures could suffer small fluctuations in subsequent days due to the completion of the preliminary investigation by the Manager. These data are in fact updated automatically once a day and do not change until the next day. This is why they must be taken with due caution.

And as the counter slowly rises, the fifth energy tale seems to be getting closer and closer.
