fifth energy tale. The associations have launched a new appeal to Regions, asking them to do not stop and continue the negotiations indefinitely on the new incentive system for photovoltaics, until all the proposed changes to the draft.

On the eve of the meetings of the State-Regions Conference, AES, ANIE-GIFI, APER, ASSOSOLARE and the IFI Committee once again asked for help from Regions, as had happened less than a month ago.

On 10 May the Regions had in fact advanced a series of changes to be made to the decree, to protect a leading sector such as photovoltaics. Among them theraising the spending ceiling from the current 500 million euros foreseen by the draft a 1 billion, the exclusion from the register of large plants of those with power below 20 kW, the restoration of the bonus for remediation dell 'asbestos from the roofs and the Made in Europe award.

But the associations push the foot on the accelerator, and are not satisfied with some slight improvement that would be of little use. “Although many Regions have shown themselves firmly in favor of the changes proposed by the industry, the competent ministries do not seem willing to change those parameters which, if maintained as in the current versions, would definitively compromise the survival of most companies in the photovoltaic sector, with serious repercussions on 'employment and the country's economy ”explain the associations.

In particular, the increase in the level of annual expenditure plays a major role up to 7 billion euros. Fundamental since the PV it would be contributing significantly to the reduction of energy imports. According to the associations, photovoltaics satisfied 5,5% of the national electricity demand in April alone, representing 7,4% of production.

For this reason, the hope is that the meetings that will take place this week between Ministries and Regions will be able to make the first step back by convincing them to make the necessary changes so that photovoltaics continue to accumulate successes, even at the cost of delay the issuance of the decree. The only condition that the associations are willing to negotiate.
