Summer 2022 is really full of news regarding ice cream. Barilla and Algida have already launched two products that are becoming popular: the Pan di Stelle cone and the Baiocchi ice cream. We told you about it in the following articles:

Ferrero has also produced ice creams that are sure to attract many consumers. Among the novelties of 2022, which range from the stick to the Pocket Coffee to a new taste of Estathè Ice, there is also the Kinder Bueno Classico ice cream and in the White version.
It is a wafer cone with hazelnut ice cream inside, covered with cocoa grains placed on a crunchy disc (also hazelnut), white in the case of the White version.
Previous versions of this ice cream had already been launched but did not satisfy consumers very much. Who knows how it will go with this new recipe and especially if the “white” novelty will be appreciated.

But let's go back to what interests us mainly, namely how this ice cream is made. To understand this, we went to see the list of ingredients and nutritional values of the new cone at Kinder Bueno on the manufacturer's website.

What is striking is the very long list of ingredients including various types of sugars, oils, thickeners, flavors, stabilizers, emulsifiers and other ingredients typical of industrial products.
We did not expect anything different, in reality, considering that it is a classic packaged ice cream which therefore does not differ much from all the others on the market.

Also in this case, nothing different from the classic packaged ice creams, in whose nutritional tables the ones stand out in particular high levels of sugar and fat (even saturated). In short, if we choose to taste this ice cream we do it above all to satisfy the taste and certainly not because we are looking for a particularly healthy product.
Whenever possible, however, it is better to opt for a good homemade ice cream, made with few ingredients and without the use of flavorings or other substances.
