    Fashion pollutes: Extinction Rebellion activists break into the Vuitton show during Paris Fashion Week

    It contributes enormously to the climate and ecological crisis and in addition has a great impact on the conditions of so many workers and communities who are exploited around the world. There is no doubt: the fashion industry has its own weight in climate change.





    This is what some of the Extinction Rebellion activists that yesterday, at the Louis Vuitton fashion show at the Louvre, on the occasion of the last day of Paris Fashion Week, they decided to literally invade the runways complete with banners.

    "Consumerism = Extinction": this is their motto. And there is everything.

    A movement activist jumped onto the catwalk installed in one of the galleries of the French museum in the middle of the parade and was then taken out of safety. Two other people paraded with banners that read “Fashion Change not Climate Change“. In all, thirty activists from Extinction Rebellion, Friends of the Earth and Youth For Climate participated in the action.
