Costume designer Olivia Mears, known on social media as avant geek, since 2013 has been making sustainable clothes made from recycled materials and the main piece is the Christmas gift wrapping paper that is also present in our house these days.

Olivia Mears was born in Laurinburg, North Carolina in 1991 and her work focuses on very original designs. All the clothes she makes are unique, for example, she makes themed dresses with toilet paper or other materials saved from the landfill.

Today she is an established costume designer, but the idea of reinventing fashion was born thanks to the enthusiasm she had on social networks. After the first outfit, her career was all on the rise.
