Everyone is cheering for Cinder Block, the obese cat who hates training, but forced to diet by the vet

Cinder-Block, the video of the cute obese cat who hates training on the treadmill and now teaches animals to lose weight correctly.

Is called Cinder-Block and it is a very tender obese cat who hates to train even if, given the weight, he is forced to do so, as seen in video that immortalizes it on a treadmill diver, which immediately went viral.

In the video a man asks him if he is training and the feline meows obviously annoyed even though he is a very sweet and affectionate cat, according to the veterinarian who takes care of him, Brita Kiffney.

His original name was just Cinder, "block" was added because of his fatness, a cute nickname given by doctors at Northshore Veterinary Hospital after his former owner abandoned him due to health and hygiene problems. obesity, which have become unmanageable for him.

Brita Kiffney of the veterinary center is now taking care of him and planning his diet and intends to bring him back to a normal weight of 12 kilos.

Obesity in fact, although "nice", it creates a lot of problems for him joints and increases the risk of diabetes and pancreatitis. Not to mention Cinder's difficulty walking, just think that she can only take a couple of steps at most.

This is why the treadmill where the veterinarian forces him to play sports is underwater, the water is used to support his weight as he moves, preventing it from exerting pressure on the joints. In the video it is still too low to really support it and it is in fact Kiffney's intention to gradually increase it in order to get Cinder used slowly.

Later the cat will also be equipped with a special harness for training, different from the one worn in the video, which should make them easier.

The target? Make him lose weight gradually without dangerous drastic cuts in food, which can cause health problems leading to fatty liver disease and liver failure.

In fact, Kiffney recommends anyone with obese pets to rely on veterinarians who can establish an adequate diet plan, rather than suddenly reducing their calorie intake.

And precisely to help those in similar situations, Kiffney has decided to allocate any proceeds deriving from the licensing of the video that has gone viral, to a special fund. In short, Cinder-Block in addition to being a nice cat, has now also become an example for pets with his own problem.
