The World Animal Protection organization has launched a new campaign aimed at all animals, even those considered ugly
He is about to end up run over, his mother saves himEasy to be touched by a baby panda, less so by a nose monkey. Yet, All animals have the right to be protected and saved. This is why the World Animal Protection organization has launched a new campaign aimed at a particular category: animals considered ugly.
As if to say, whether they are considered beautiful or ugly (and let's face it, for us there are no ugly animals), they must be helped and we must save ourselves from extinction. That beauty is subjective is beyond doubt. The aesthetic canons are not the same for everyone but according to this organization some animals may be less tender and beautiful than others. Among these is also a species of monkey, with a proboscis (Nasalis larvatus).
Whether they are considered beautiful or not, it doesn't matter. For this reason World Animal Protection has tried to raise public awareness on the subject by even launching a campaign in favor of the protection of this category:
“We protect all animals. Even the ugly ones. We know that many things are already happening in the world. In addition to the difficulty of taking care of animals during COVID-19, now more than ever we need your help to be ready to protect all vulnerable animals from further crises, even the ugly ones ”reads the page dedicated to the campaign.
To help them, World Animal Protection has launched a fundraiser with donations ranging from $ 5 and up to protect all animals, regardless of their appearance.
A curious initiative that should make us think.
