    Giraffes, kangaroos, lions who remained alone for many hours because it was impossible to get close due to the high flames and strong wind. But luckily, things turned out differently and what could have been a massacre turned into a happy ending story. Unfortunately, many residents of the area have been evacuated.

    The firefighters and the entire team working at the zoo managed to rescue all 200 animals that were evacuated and transported to a safer place. White rhinos, giraffes and zebras frightened by the increasingly furious fire.

    The Mogo Wildlife Park is located south of Batemans Bay and as we said is inside a forest that in the last period is increasingly affected by fires. The zoo was completely destroyed, but no animals were injured.
