Ethylene Oxide: Take these plant-based coconut, rice and almond drinks off the shelves

Still contamination of ethylene oxide: the withdrawal is triggered for some batches of vegetable drinks sold in Esselunga and Iper supermarkets

Don't store avocado like this: it's dangerous

The recalls of food due to contamination do not stop ethylene oxide, a highly dangerous pesticide for human health. The well-known supermarket chains Esselunga e Hyper are withdrawing from their shelves - as a precaution - some batches of vegetable drinks, one based on coconut and the other based on rice and almond, due to the presence of traces of ethylene oxide in an ingredient, namely guar gum ( used as a thickener).

The products subject to the withdrawal are a Bjorg brand and are sold in one-liter packs.

Here are the details of the drinks withdrawn:

If by chance you have purchased one of the recalled lots, do not consume it and bring it back to the supermarket for a refund.
