Ethylene oxide also in organic ginger powder: withdrawn by the Ministry of Health

The Ministry of Health recalled a batch of organic ginger powder due to the presence of ethylene oxide

More ethylene oxide in the foods we consume every day. The health ministry recalled a batch of organic ginger powder because it is contaminated by the dangerous pesticide.

Unfortunately, the list of foods poisoned by ethylene oxide is still growing. There are now hundreds since the first ones were reported a year ago. Even organic foods are not saved, such as powdered ginger just reported on the Ministry website and sold in sachets.

According to the safety notice, the withdrawn product was produced by the Sottolestelle brand, based in San Giovanni Rotondo (FG).
