There is a recall for some batches of SEGEL Srl brand fruit sorbet contaminated by ethylene oxide
Don't store avocado like this: it's dangerousRecalls of food contaminated with ethylene oxide, the dangerous pesticide banned by the European Union for some time now, continue. The Ministry of Health has just ordered, as a precaution, the withdrawal from the shelves of some batches of artisanal fruit sorbets due to the presence of the substance in one of the ingredients, that is carob seed flour.
The sorbets covered by the recall are sold in glass jars of 500 grams and are produced by SEGEL Srl in the Porta Garibaldi (Ferrara) plant.
