1) Shiny hair

To get shiny hair, it is important the right rinse. The last rinse after shampooing should always be done with cold water, to get shinier hair. Pour 4 glass of Epsom salts and 1 glass of lemon juice into 1 liters of water, mix and let it rest for 24 hours before use.

2) Gentle scrub

Epsom salts are an excellent solution to gently exfoliate the skin and for eliminate dead cells and calluses. Mix 2 tablespoons of Epsom salts with a little water, until you get a creamy mixture to apply on the skin. Gently rub on the affected areas and rinse with warm water.

3) Sunburn

If you have red and irritated skin due to one sunburn, prepare a compress or spray remedy with Epsom salts. Just dissolve 2 tablespoons of Epsom salts in 1 liter of water and apply the liquid on the skin with a spray or with a soaked cloth, as in the case of a compress.

4) Insect bites

Epsom salts are considered miraculous for relieving the aches and pains caused by insect bites, starting with swelling, up to redness and itching. In this case, just dissolve a pinch of English salts in a little water and apply the solution obtained on the affected area with a handkerchief or cotton swab, without rubbing or pressing too hard.

5) Constipation

English salts are a natural supplement recommended for fight constipation and for purify the liver, even in the presence of gallstones. Before starting their intake, it is good to consult a doctor. The treatment is very simple and consists in dissolving a teaspoon of Epsom salts in a glass of water, to be drunk once a day.

6) Clean tiles and sanitary ware

They are also an invaluable aid to ecological cleaning. They will allow you to easily remove accumulations of limestone from tiles and bathroom fixtures, as well as to counteract the halos left by traditional detergents and their residues. Create one cleaning paste gradually pouring water on the Epsom salts, after having transferred them to a detergent dispenser or a glass, until you obtain a compound that can be easily applied on a sponge or cleaning cloth.

7) Natural pesticide

If your problem consists in having to stem the presence of insects in the garden, forget the classics insecticides. Instead, prepare a simple solution consisting of 1 liter of water and 1 tablespoon of Epsom salts and spray it on the affected areas. It will not damage the grass or lawn in any way.

8) Fertilizer

Epsom salts are a natural fertilizer suitable for flowers, especially for pink. They are in fact useful for nourishing plants and facilitating flowering. In spring, add small amounts of Epsom salts to the soil around the flowering plants. Reserve the same treatment for the tomatoes, to promote maturation.

9) Weeds

If your problem is weeds, in the vegetable garden or in the garden, leave out traditional and polluting remedies. Combine 1 liter of vinegar with 2 tablespoons of ecological dish soap and 4 tablespoons of Epsom salts. Mix everything and pour into a spray bottle. Apply the solution to the spots in the garden where you want to fight weeds. It is a herbicidal remedy effective molto, due to the presence of large quantities of vinegar, therefore do not apply it on other plants.

10) Water the vegetable garden

If the soil of your garden is rather poor in mineral salts, you can enrich it by watering it from time to time with water and Epsom salts. Just prepare at the moment a solution consisting of 1 liter of water in which to dissolve 2 tablespoons of salts. You just have to use it in the garden or to water potted plants.
