What if you found out that the Big Mac you are about to taste has been bitten before you by a top? Although McDonald's usually focuses in its advertising campaigns, even in our country, on the extreme attention to hygiene in the preparation of their sandwiches and dishes, it seems that not all fast food restaurants in the chain are as loyal to the rules as every customer would expect. . To prove it is the creepy video shot by a now former employee of the chain.

Karruim Demaio got a nasty surprise last November by wandering around the pantry of one of the chain's Philadelphia fast food outlets, based on Stanton Avenue. Attracted by a strange noise, the man approached a transparent plastic bag containing a large amount of panini intended for the realization of the Big Mac. Observing better, he noticed that a mouse moved undisturbed inside it, which had deposited its excrement on dozens of sandwiches.

He was able to film the incident thanks to a mobile phone equipped with a video camera. From the video made by Karruim both the silhouette and the tail of the mouse are clearly distinguishable. To make the news public, Karruim Demaio contacted the Fox 29 television network, which in turn investigated the matter by consulting the store manager. On television, Karruim revealed that this was not the first such episode. It was in fact the sixth or la seventh time that he happened to see a mouse making its own raids among the ingredients destined to be served to fast food customers. At that point, the man felt it was time to gather evidence on the matter.

The former employee also stated that, during the two years he spent working in the same fast food restaurant, there was no day on which he or his colleagues did not check for the presence of excrement of rodents, notoriously toxic, on food. Employees were regularly instructed by the managers to simply remove the disgusting traces left by the rodents and to use the contaminated food anyway.

Fox 29, after receiving nothing more than answers from the store managers aimed at denying what had happened, decided to investigate the matter, exposing the precarious hygienic conditions of fast food. The most recent health inspections revealed the presence of flies and insects in the area dedicated to food preparation. Furthermore, the perishable foods they were not stored at the correct temperature and many of the refrigeration systems were malfunctioning.

Naturally, the suspicion arises that this is not an isolated case, which in itself proves to be sufficient to cast new shadows on the already widely discussed ingredients used by the most widespread fast food chain in the world for the preparation of its famous sandwiches.
