Circa 100 km 0 products sold on tap: from 29 August you can find them in Capannori, in the province of Lucca, in the new store Effecta, entirely devoted to sustainability environmental.

Oil, pasta, detergents, wine, legumes, seasonal fruit and vegetables: everything locally produced, within maximum 100 km in short, from the shop, a very short supply chain. Good and genuine products, which can be purchased in quantities that will no longer depend on the laws of the market but from the real needs of each of us: everything is in fact sold on tap, that is, without the use of bulky and polluting packaging and, not a little for our pockets, in the quantity we want.

A first step towards more conscious and sustainable purchasing behaviors: buying local products helps both the economic realities of the place (farmers, breeders and so on) and the environment. Shopping at km 0 means reduce CO2 emissions normally generated by the transport of goods, but also buy fresh and seasonal products, often organic, ed concretely help the productive activities of one's own territory, not only agricultural but also industrial. But it also means rediscovering local products, those linked to tradition and the memory of our grandparents.

To all this Effecta also adds the waste reduction due to packaging materials, as all products are sold in bulk and on tap. We think of all the cardboard or tin packaging, glass or plastic bottles that we will avoid using by buying detergents, milk, pasta on tap. To go shopping in the new Tuscan shop, in fact, they can only be used reusable containers, while the old ones shopping bags from Lucca (traditional straw bags of the area) will replace the very harmful plastic bags.

The store is divided into three: areas: in one sector there are i gravity products and bulk products (including organic fruit and vegetables and cheeses brought from local producers who are guests of the shop), in another i tapped products (including 26 detergents and detergents, 8 types of wine, 3 of oil), finally the third sector is reserved for partners and promotion andactivation of projects for environmental protection, sustainable consumption and renewable energy.

Effecta was born from the idea of ​​a group of young people who presented the project by winning a start-up loan through the provincial call for "New business credit line", and was also supported by Savings Bank of Lucca.
