I bricks are safe (they have obtained recognition fromIMQ Quality Marks Institute) and non-toxic: even the dyes used are the same as those foreseen for food use. They can be cut both horizontally and vertically with rounded-tipped scissors, but also used for coloring, rubbing them wet on the sheets of paper or "crumbling" them for a sandblasted effect.
The Ecologioco is on sale (in packs starting from 3 liters, up to the 115 l box designed especially for schools and playrooms) not only at the Bottega Ecoloco in Milan, but also in other shops and cooperatives e in fair trade circuits. The purpose of the Cooperative and the associations is above all to use these versatile corn bricks such as a nice and original promotional vehicle for environmental campaigns, to raise funds to be used in solidarity projects and, finally, how teaching tool for environmental, artistic and psychomotor education.
Children can consult the site together with their parents to see the examples of use and construction and propose them in turn of new ones.
