The photographer Soela Zani has given life to a truly extraordinary project that allows children with Down syndrome to identify with the protagonists of the most famous paintings in the world.

The message that the photographer with her project wants to convey to all humanity is very simple: each of us is a work of art. In this way, children with Down syndrome were able to participate in a truly positive initiative.

The photographer thinks that it is necessary to create positive examples to educate the children and adults of today and tomorrow so that they can better relate to people who appear "different" from them.

People with special needs, such as children with Down syndrome, need not be victims of discrimination and to receive the right support both from their family and from the people who care for them or who come into contact with them during daily life.

With common sense and a greater understanding of those in difficult situations, we can overcome any unnecessary barriers and truly become a valuable aid to others.

Let us think of the unfair affair that involved a few days ago a mom and her disabled child. The mother, who arrived at school early, found her son left alone in a room very similar to a closet and has launched an appeal on Facebook to ask that nothing like this ever happen again.
