It is hypothesized the dissemination of the results of the tests carried out on the mysterious E-Cat, which would have recently, according to Rossi, reached the temperature of 600 °. "Within a week we will have important news regarding high temperature reactors" says Rossi. But if indeed the scientific community can get its hands on the data of the test, finally there will be the definitive test on the functioning of the catalyst, which could silence the unbelievers and lead Rossi to glory, removing the doubts and clarifying the contradictions often stemming from some of his statements.
As further confirmation of the revolutionary significance of his invention, Rossi provided further data. Its E-Cat systems would have a coefficient of performance (COP) of 6. This means that the total energy output of an E-Cat is six times the amount of energy input. In essence, the catalyst would have delivered astounding results.
As Hank Mills pointed out on e-catworld.com, for decades, hot fusion scientists have attempted to build reactors capable of exceeding a COP of 1,1, and have been unable to do so despite the billions invested. However, the current models of E-Cat, which are about to be commercialized, according to Rossi, would be capable of producing a COP of 6, far higher than any attempt at hot fusion.
Furthermore, according to Rossi, this result could be obtained using only small quantities of materials, without producing nuclear waste. We can only hope that he is right.
