Creative recycling of milk containers: bird feeder

With an old milk carton you can make a really cute bird feeder. You will first need to drill a hole in one of the sides of the cardboard and move on to the decoration.

You can line the container with wooden sticks to give it a more natural look, in tune with the surrounding environment. Or paint it with acrylic colors of your choice, perhaps adding a few fake windows, and cover only the roof with twigs.

Add a string to the top of the container for hanging.

With Tetra Pak containers you can also make DIY storage boxes.

Dainty Dress Diaries tells you step by step how to do this by adding ice cream sticks and some scraps of fabric. All you have to do is cut the top of the cardboard, after cleaning it well, hot glue the sticks all around and add the fabric.

After removing the top of the cardboard, you can recreate the ears of some animal's snout with scissors. Better to draw them on a sheet and only then go to the cutout. Add the eyes, nose and any mustache with a black permanent marker.

Creative recycling of milk containers: DIY animals

Children will have a lot of fun creatively recycling Tetra Pak cartons to make curious little animals, which they can also hang in the bedroom. Look at these cute little owls. To make them, just drill a hole in the central part and two holes in correspondence with the side wings. Then, with the pen or the felt-tip pen, have the children draw the feathers, the eyes and the various details.

You can also glue ballet eyes, feathers, buttons and plastic caps to the milk carton, allowing children to experiment and create other animals.
