Don't store avocado like this: it's dangerous

Our skin regenerates itself continuously… Every day, in fact, the epidermis removes the outermost layer of cells and renews it with new cells coming from the underlying layers. This process is very important given that desquamation helps keep viruses and bacteria away from inside our body. That is why it is a good thing, every now and then, to promote cell regeneration by using a good scrub which will also help make the skin softer and more hydrated.

There are many on the market shower gel scrub, however, they are not always quality products and most of the time they contain preservatives and unsuitable chemicals. If, for convenience, you want to buy a ready-made one, contact your trusted herbalist e evaluate the Inci on the Biodictionary.

If, on the other hand, you have the time and desire, you can make your own body scrub in a natural and economical way thanks to a few ingredients: sea salt, lemon, sweet almond oil and lavender essential oil! The most expensive products are of course the last two, but once purchased they will last you a long time, as long as you only use them for the scrub.

So let's see the recipe ... you simply have to mix them together:

    • 10 spoons of salt
    • 4 spoons of sweet almond oil
    • the juice of 1 lemon
    • 3 or 4 drops of essential oil of lavender

The ingredients can be changed depending on your tastes or what you have available at home ... you can, for example, use the salt if you think that the big one may be too aggressive for your skin or alternatively make the scrub with XNUMX/XNUMX cup sugar o bicarbonate, or replace the essential oil of lavender with another of your liking, use theolive oil, Jojoba oil, etc. instead of that of almonds, add honey, yogurt or other.

You can keep the scrub in a glass jar to keep together with shower products. Use it once a week, no more, by gently massaging the mixture into the moist skin of the whole body (avoiding to pass it on wounds, cuts or areas that you know are sensitive) and letting it act for a few minutes. Then rinse well and, if necessary, apply a moisturizer at the end of the shower (I don't need it, thanks to the almond oil I am already well hydrated, but these are subjective factors!).

Be careful to use pure and quality essential oils without exaggerating since, being very focused, I can be aggressive and do more harm than good!

    Happy exfoliation everyone!
