How to prepare blueberry and lemon flavored water to detoxify and get back on track after the summer
Have you gained a few extra pounds over the summer? Here's how to prepare an excellent blueberry and lemon flavored water to detoxify and get going again with momentum
In a few days we will (reluctantly) say goodbye to the summer to meet autumn and the routine made up of more or less frenetic rhythms. And at this time of the year many want to go back to work with more enthusiasm, perhaps managing first to eliminate a few extra pounds taken during the summer holidays. To get back in shape, a healthy and balanced diet and physical activity are essential, but some fruit detox water can help us dispose of toxins and purify the body.
What we propose today is based on blueberries, fruits with a thousand virtues (known above all for their antioxidant and hypoglycemic properties) and lemon. It really takes just a few minutes to prepare it. This cold herbal tea is particularly suitable for those who want to drain and is also useful for preventing some annoying urinary infections.

- 300 gr fresh blueberries (both red and black ones are fine)
- 1 liter of water
- 1 organic lemon
- a few sprigs of rosemary
Wash the blueberries well and pour them into the bottom of a bottle or glass jug. Squeeze them lightly with a spoon to release some juice. Cut a lemon and into slices and add them to the blueberries. Then pour in the water and add a few sprigs of rosemary, which aids digestion and has anti-inflammatory properties. If you don't like rosemary, you can replace it with some fresh mint leaves.
Now put your detox water in the refrigerator and leave the blueberries to macerate for about 10 hours. You can leave it in the fridge overnight and consume it in the morning. Before enjoying the flavored water, strain it through a colander and transfer the drink to a glass.
