How to prepare lentil dahl: procedure
- Bring boil the water, then add the spices and then the lentils,
- far cook over medium heat, stirring often, until they are cooked, adding more hot water if necessary,
- in in the meantime, clean and finely chop the carrot, put it in a large pan with the oil,
- when the lentils will be almost cooked, possibly add salt and sauté the carrot,
- add now in the sauté, taking care not to burn yourself, also the lentils and stir for a few minutes,
- Serve and serve immediately sprinkle, if you like, with parsley.
