Traces of soy in the ice cream almond. Coop has ordered the voluntary recall of a type of ice cream of its own brand because it contains allergens not declared on the label.
This could be dangerous for those allergic to soy. A new food alert arrives these days. After the most sensational, namely those of glass fragments in Coca Cola and mycotoxins in bran sticks, now it is also the turn of ice cream.
The recalled product is the Coop flower almond ice cream and in particular the 300g tray. The lots withdrawn are the following 05.2021 / 06.2021 / 09.2021 with the same expiration dates.
“Coop has already withdrawn the product from sale as a precaution. We invite intolerant consumers who have purchased it not to use the product and return it to the point of sale for a refund. For more information, available on Toll-free number 800-805580."
If you have purchased it and are allergic to soy, avoid consuming it.
