And he's not wrong when you consider that almost 250 tons of toxic waste and industrial waste were buried in the landfill of the production of chlorine and soda, bleach and formaldehyde, perchlorates and ammonium chloride offormer Montecatini Edison chemical center, "For environmental damage - writes Realacci - estimated at 8,5 billion euros and a cost of 600 million for reclamation".
As explained by the Abbruzzese Forum: "The polluted S. So much so that even then the Istituto Superiore di Sanità wrote to the associations (and only to them, to underline their role in the affair with respect to that of the public bodies involved!) That the water of the S. Angelo Wells was not suitable for human consumption . Following these actions, wells were dug upstream of the polluted area, the S. Rocco wells, which today supply the Valpescara.
The forum, to investigate the issue and indicate the priorities to be addressed both today and in the immediate future, has organized a conference for tomorrow 27 March at 11:00 at the Primo Moroni bookshop in Pescara (Via Quarto dei Mille, 29) in which will talk about reclamation, delays and lack of transparency as well as requesting a civil party for the entities in the preliminary hearing of the bussi-bis procedure which involves the top management of the aqueduct and a representative of the ASL who will be held on the next 15 April.
In short, after almost half a century of complaints and after years of trials, it is time for a decision to start'reclamation, requalification and industrial reconversion operation. And not only in Bussi sul Tirino, but also in all the other disaster areas of our beautiful country.

Solvay is a Civil Party and none of its executives is charged in the trial initiated at the Court of Assise at the Court of Chieti for environmental pollution and the mega landfill discovered in 2007, carried out in the Bussi sul Tirino area in the 60-70s.
Solvay is the civil party, not accused, in the trial against former manager of the company (Mont) Edison, accused of poisoning and malicious disaster committed before the Solvay Group, in May 2002, acquired the industrial site of Bussi from (Mont) Edison on the Tirino.
It is therefore necessary to clearly distinguish this trial against former executives (Mont) Edison / Ausimont, pending in the Court of Assizes of Chieti, from the recent preliminary investigations, conducted by the Pescara Public Prosecutor's Office against seven Solvay managers, which concern an alleged failure to reclaim three other minor landfills north of the industrial site and an alleged failure of the hydraulic barrier installed by Solvay as the owner not responsible for the pollution of the site.
Following the recent closure of these preliminary investigations, Solvay's lawyers are preparing to request the dismissal of the charges, generated by an unfounded and obviously interested complaint filed by Edison.
