The recalled mussels can cause diarrhea, abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting within thirty minutes of ingestion.
Don't store avocado like this: it's dangerousThe Ministry of Health has ordered the recall of a batch of mussels or mussels (Mytilus galloprovincialis) produced and packaged by the Angelo Mancin Agricultural Company. The lot object of the withdrawal corresponds to the mussels collected on August 16, 2021, marketed in packs of five kilos.
The decision was made for the presence of biotoxins marine present in mussels beyond the legal limits. DSP marine biotoxin poisoning causes Bivalve Shellfish Diarrhea Syndrome and may present shortly after ingestion with symptoms including diarrhea, abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting.
Since these toxins can resist even at high temperatures, cooking is not enough to inactivate them, so the product must not be consumed even cooked.
