Niscemi 2012

Just this year in Niscemi, Sicily, a Christmas tree was made entirely out of plastic bottles. The tree was placed in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele III, complete with a red carpet at the base, to enhance its beauty, which is impossible not to notice, given that the Christmas tree reaches a height of 7 meters and required the employment of 1750 bottles, mounted on a metal structure.

Paris 2009

In 2009 in Paris it was decided to take care of respect for the environment in the construction of four of the city's Christmas trees. So the French capital three years ago was embellished by the presence of four Christmas fir trees made using recycled plastic bottles. Each tree was illuminated with LED lights. The project for the creation of Christmas trees in recycled plastic is the merit of the designer Fabrice Peltier.

Lithuania 2011

In 2011, for the third consecutive year, the city of Kaunas, Lithuania, decided to rely on the artist Jolanta Šmidtienė for your own Christmas decorations. In the city of Sidney, Australia, on the occasion of Christmas 2009, an imposing building was created Christmas tree consisting of plastic bottles green and blue. The tree had been placed in the area of ​​the city called The Rocks.
