Fortunately, there is areally fast alternative.
You will need two plastic hangers of the same size, which you can easily retrieve from the closet, and two electrician cable ties - check how much is left in your toolbox. You will need the clamps to join the two hangers without fear that the structure may give way.
Place the plastic hangers side by side, symmetrically, and join them with the cable ties, on the side where the hook for hanging is located. By rotating the handles you will be able to roll up the cables lights around the hangers, quickly and easily, without having to buy special tools. Follow the images and get to work!
