If you have not yet decided what to give to your loved ones on the occasion of the Christmas, from SAPERE desk (Environment Desk for Renewable and Ecosustainable Energy) of Municipality of Locri (RC) comes a proposal to be grasped, original and decidedly eco-sustainable: "Give a tree for Christmas". The slogan of the initiative, which aims to create new green areas in our urban centers, offering anyone who wishes the opportunity to plant a tree and thus contribute to making our cities breathe, is: "A tree is a gift that remains forever and acquires value every year".
By choosing to join the initiative, you will give a very special and undoubtedly green meaning to your Christmas gift. In the appropriate Registry Office "A tree for me too who was born yesterday" (which also corresponds to a Group your Facebook) will be noted the date, time and place of installation of your tree in the ground, together with photographic evidence of the event, to dedicated and name of the recipient of your gift. Enrollment in the Register is easy and is open to anyone, wherever they are.
Here's how: you can plant a tree on your own initiative, where you prefer and in total autonomy, and then send to the SAPERE desk a photo of your work, including date, time, place, dedication and recipient; or, with a small voluntary contribution (the maximum limit is 5 euros), you can charge SAPERE desk to find a tree for you, which you can either have it planted in your name or collect and pose in total autonomy. Keep in mind that all three possible procedures require photo-testimonials, date, time, dedication and name of the recipient.
The small financial contribution requested by SAPERE desk it is necessary to make the finding any species of tree (also because the choice depends on the peculiarities of the installation area and the time of year in which this takes place), to subsidize the souvenir plate in which all the necessary information will be engraved, including your dedication, and, finally, to print and send you the certificate with the data of the tree, strictly on recycled paper, and the souvenir photos of the installation in the dwelling.
The initiative of the Registry of Trees is not limited only to the Christmas period, but wants to become an option for any time of the year.
