According to experts from the University of Western Australia, children who own a dog are 50% more likely to have aadequate physical activity at their age.

    Uno study carried out on over 1200 children between the ages of 10 and 12 brought to light that those who presented the opportunity to have a dog among their family members (60% of the total), had the possibility of walk at least 30 minutes more per week and to play in total 140 more minutes of physical activity compared to peers who did not have a dog. Being able to have a dog as a friend from childhood allows the little ones to get used to movement, outdoor life and physical activity, avoiding the risk of going into obesity or cardiovascular diseases related to sedentary life as adults.
