Child asks his mother to buy him a doll because he wants to "be the best father in the world"

He does not know what he will do when he grows up. The astronaut, the doctor, the farmer but today he is "training" to face one of the most rewarding, sweet and difficult jobs: the father. This beautiful story comes from Puerto Rico, where a little boy asked his mom to give him a doll to become the "best father in the world".

Mom tells the story on Facebook. We are in Puerto Rico but the story has crossed borders and went viral after the mother published the images of her son.

At first the boy wanted to play with his sister's dolls, but she didn't want to lend them to him, so he asked for one of his own.

“Mom, buy me a doll. I want to be the best dad in the world ”said the little boy.

The woman immediately accepted his sweet request. She bought a doll for her little one who has been playing with her dad ever since.

The photographs received thousands of comments. Many complimented the little one and also praised the mother, capable of fighting stereotypes related to masculinity to please her son by instilling in him the care of potential future children.

So, faced with any criticism, the woman said firmly that her intention is to educate him, not only to be a good father or to be interested in sharing the responsibilities of a home, but also to change society.

“I am teaching my son to cooperate at home by letting him be a good father, I make sure I leave an excellent man in this world. This is how we will change this society ”.
