Chard roses and couscous, the recipe for a tasty vegetarian first course

How to prepare beet and couscous roses: procedure


  • lavare, clean and boil the chard in boiling salted water, when cooked, drain and let it cool,
  • put in a saucepan the water, half a tablespoon of oil and bring to a boil, then turn off the heat, add the couscous,
  • cover up with a lid and wait five minutes,
  • Than we remove the lid and shell it with a fork.
  • To put couscous in a large bowl and season with ricotta and spices,

  • put beet roses in a baking dish greased with additional oil,
  • continue like this until the entire perimeter of the pan is finished, then cut the remaining leaves and mix them with the couscous,
  • place it in the center of the pan and grease the dish with a drizzle of oil and season it with parmesan,
  • bake and bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° for about thirteen / fifteen minutes.
