If you are a cat lover and a fan of TV series, this new, hilarious streaming platform is for you: it's called CATflix and, mimicking the more famous Netflix, it offers short parody videos of the most famous TV series of the moment starring the sweetest kittens. So here is a very hairy Luke Skywalker confronting his father in CAT Wars, or the Professor explaining to his friends a diabolical plan in CATsa de Papel or even an aging kitten Rose who recalls her poignant love story with Jack in TitaniCAT. In short, there is something for all tastes and for all genres.
This is the advertising campaign of a Chilean company that produces cat food (this explains why Catflix is only available in Spanish), which immediately went viral by sharing videos on social media. Countryside it also has a beneficial purpose in favor of cats: part of the income generated by the platform is in fact donated to an association that deals with the care of cats in difficulty.
As mentioned, it is for the moment a short video of a few minutes, which replicate iconic moments from movies or that convey the atmosphere of TV series. But, given the resounding success of this content and the platform, the creators of Catflix do not rule out the project from expanding, eventually creating longer videos and maybe even series with several episodes - just like on Netflix.
