This is what the ministry of health reports, which issued the alarm notification. The health risk is Chemical-Carcinogenic. The anomaly was revealed by the analyzes carried out by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), performed by the Regional Agency for Environmental Prevention and Protection of the Veneto Provincial Department of Verona.
The offending products, in particular, are the 1000 ml containers art HX813289 and bar code 8050766082897, those of 450ml art HX813287 and bar code 8050766082873, and finally also those of 600ml art HX813288 and bar code 8050766082880. The 13 Last October the ministry proceeded with the withdrawal and recall from the market, (note of the Ministry of Health prot 27312), referring to the competent prosecutor by NAS Treviso.
The risk that consumers took? In case of breakage of the glass container and manipulation of the asbestos cardboard tablet, asbestos fibers can be released (carcinogen by inhalation classe 1 IARC).
