Carcinogen in sunscreen, immediate withdrawal for these spray products

The US company Coppertone recalled 12 batches of sunsprays containing traces of benzene, a carcinogen

Don't store avocado like this: it's dangerous

If you have purchased spray sunscreens produced by the US company in the last few months Coppertone, be careful. The company - owned by Beiersdorf - has voluntarily recalled 12 batches of five products, and the reason is pretty serious. Traces of benzene, chemical carcinogenic to humans. It is a compound classified by the IARC in group 1, that is, among the substances for which there is established evidence of induction of tumors in humans. It can be easily absorbed both by inhalation and by skin contact and ingestion.

The company therefore urged consumers not to use the sprays in question, produced between January and June 15, 2021. In reality, the recall concerns the US market, but sun lotions can also be easily purchased online. For this it is good to check the lots.
