What happens when you put the LEGO bricks and some of the most representative works of the urban artist Banksy? As photographer Jeff Friesen has shown, the result is truly impressive and fascinating.

In his series entitled not by chance “Bricksy”, the award-winning Canadian photographer has recreated some of Banksy's most famous works, using only LEGO pieces and making them linear and clean. Made with blocks taken from his daughter's toy basket, the scenes put together by the brick artist are among the most classic and famous, including the girl with heart shaped balloon and the iconic bouquet toss.

In each creation, however, a humorous and ironic touch. For example, the bouquet is actually thrown by a Lego man at his girlfriend, dressed as a police officer. In another scene, the maid who secretly hides the dust under the wall is "caught" by a housewife looking out of the open window.

Here are some scenes from the collection.
