Sometimes even a few simple but good daily habits can help us keep diseases away. One of these is undoubtedly walk. A recent study by the Sant'Anna hospital in Turin has in fact revealed a new benefit of the walk ...

Walk at least 30 minutes a day it would reduce the risk of breast cancer by 20-30%, naturally if associated with a balanced diet and more generally with a healthy lifestyle.

The study, published in "Breast Cancer Research and Treatment”, Has been carried out by the Turin hospital over the last 5 years and has seen as a result a decrease in the occurrence of relapses in the most active people. The study, among other things, coordinated by Dr. Carlo Campagnoli, aimed to understand precisely this, not surprisingly the title of the research was "Identification and contrast of endocrine-metabolic alterations favoring the recurrence of breast cancer".

All this only confirms previous studies, in particular that of the American Cancer Society in which a team of researchers led by Alpa Patel they had monitored a large sample of women (73 thousand) for 17 years, highlighting how postmenopausal women who walk for an hour each day can significantly reduce the risk of getting breast cancer.

The advice that comes more and more often from the scientific world is therefore that of avoid a sedentary lifestyle walking or practicing moderate physical activity several times a week eat healthily strongly reducing refined sugars and animal proteins which, in the long run, are able to cause metabolic and hormonal alterations in our organism.
