It seems he was more affectionate than usual, snuggling up where, probably, he smelled a particular smell. So a small cat saved her life from her owner, Angela Tinning who, following the "anomalous" behavior of her four-legged friend, discovered that she had breast cancer.
Angela, in fact, wasn't sure why her cat Missy was weird with her. She lay on her chest, making her feel pain, and it gave her doubts.
This is why the woman decided to go to the doctor, who identified pre-cancerous cells and removed them immediately.
This is the second time that Missy has behaved like this: two years ago the cat had unusual attitudes, always focusing her attention on the breast.
Angela now considers her Missy a heroine cat and for this reason she proposed her for the assignment of the “The Hero Cat” award at the National Cat Awards.
“If I had waited, the tumor probably could have spread, it would have been a very large area. If it weren't for her, I wouldn't have gone on for very long. "
Angela today launches an appeal to raise funds for the charity that has been alongside her, Breast Cancer Care.
It is not the first time that a furry friend has "diagnosed" the presence of a tumor in time. The cases of dogs have already amazed us Ted, of Frankie, of Liù and Victoria, all examples of how dogs, and now cats too, can be able to sense cancer early.
