Following the suggestion of a local judge, the Brazilian prison would have decided to insert statically positioned bicycles inside, so that they can be used for produce energy by pedaling simply on the spot, just as you would using an exercise bike. The bicycles have been specially designed so that they can produce genuinely usable electricity, for example for lighting street lamps. Each bicycle is equipped with a battery, which is charged by pedaling on the spot.

Given the success achieved so far, the number of bicycles capable of producing electricity is expected to increase soon in the Brazilian prison.
