A tree house for dozens of birds. And a lucky birdwatcher. After the house inspired by a nest, here it is “bird-apartment", Designed by the Japanese architects of the Nendo design studio for the Momofuku Ando Center, a structure designed for nature and built by Kengo Kuma & Associates in order to promote naturalistic activities.

In this kind of condominium for birds, located in the forest of Comoros City, mountainous prefecture of Japan Nagano, on the one hand, 78 nesting houses were assembled, on the other a staircase that allows access to the tree house for only one person. Once inside, the birdwatcher, who obviously will not have to be afraid of heights, will be able to do so peek into the life of the feathered inhabitants through small holes made in the wall of the spaces intended for nests.

The study of this extraordinary building surrounded by greenery explains: “Our tree house is a collective home for many bird species and one person. On the one hand, the tree house has entrances for 78 bird nests. The other side has a entrance for one person, who can look into the birds' nests from the tree house ”. This is how a human, as long as he has great respect for his roommates, and nearly 80 birds can coexist peacefully, immersed in the purest nature.
