Biobased: soy-based spray isolator

    Biobased: soy-based spray isolator

To reduce heat losses and also save on the bill, as we know, the thermal insulation of the house is fundamental. One possibility to insulate walls, windows, attics or surfaces, with practicality and speed, is given by the insulating spray foams which, however, until now were produced exclusively by the processing of petroleum and other foaming and therefore highly polluting chemical agents. But the green alternative once again comes from soy. The Biobased company has, in fact, developed a long range of products that use this small seed as the main material.

reduce heat losses e also save on your bill, fundamental as we know, is thethermal insulation of the House. A chance to isolate The walls, windows, attics o surfaces, with practicality and speed, is given by spray insulating foams which, however, until now were produced exclusively from the processing of petroleum and other chemical agents foaming and therefore highly polluting. But theecological alternative comes once again from the soy. The company Biobased has, in fact, developed a long range of products that use this small seed as the main material.

It is not, to tell the truth, the first time that soy has been used as a green alternative to various chemicals. There have been emollients used by cable TV installers and we too, in the past, had highlighted a performing ink produced by processing this legume.

Well the native plant of eastern Asia, if previously it was framed exclusively from a food perspective as a substitute for meat and cheese, targeted studies have led to the discovery of new and interesting practical applications capable of exploiting its excellent qualities, including, in fact, that of being a perfect insulation for the home.

Biobased invented one very effective spray foam able to form an air barrier around the structure reducing losses. Its use is very simple as it can be applied through a normal spray and it is resistant, to the same extent as the chemical ones, to any molds and fungi.

Specifically, this spray acts because the components that compose it expand to form a foamy layer capable of coating the surfaces by filling cracks and voids with the substance. Once treated, then, the application prepares the surface for plasterboard or similar finishes. The acoustic transmission coming from the air conditioning systems (HVAC), from the hydraulic ones and from the noise propagated in the air is reduced and, vice versa, the thermal one considerably limits the losses thanks to the insulating foam. The product also has no no nutritional value for any parasites and rodents. Two other points in favor are: the Class 1 fire rating exceeding the requirements for flame spread and smoke development; and the price which turns out definitely lower than that of petroleum-based insulation systems.

The product can be easily purchased online, and the customer service number on the site allows you to contact the company directly for any quotes, acquisitions for points of sale and supplies.
