Reduce the amount of waste without harming the environment with unnecessary transport o polluting processes? From today it is possible, thanks to a particular container that not only compacts the waste introduced, but is also fed by a photovoltaic panel, so as not to waste energy on its operation.

È Big Belly Solar, the new creation of eurven, the company that designs separate collection systems, compaction and waste recycling, and which we already met at the launch of RePaperMe, the paper and cardboard compactor that allows customers despar to collect loyalty points by recycling your scraps.

The new compactors designed for any place and need by Eurven solar container adds the use of a clean source such as that of the sun: theeco-bin it can thus be placed in public gardens, squares or campsites, reducing the volume of solid waste (up to 80%) without polluting the environment in any way. The whole recycling chain will be surrendered more sustainable also thanks to a remote control device that will alert the manager when the container is completely full, preventing him from making "empty trips" to check its status.

From here the compacted waste will be transported directly to the transformation centers or collected by the local authority operating the system and resold as recovered materials, thus also becoming an important income for the administration coffers and greatly shortening the recycling chain. In this way the use of landfills will be reduced, CO2 emissions due to the transport and treatment of waste will be contained and an important awareness raising effort will be made among citizens and tourists.

"Big Belly Solar perfectly reflects our philosophy, that of innovating through systems that are advantageous both for people and for the environment", he explains Carlo Alberto Baesso, General Manager of Eurven. On the occasion of Ecomondo, the company will also present its other compactors, from those that calculate the amount of CO2 saved by transferring waste into machinery, to those destined for point collection in supermarkets.
