    Karen makes her creations from inflatable beach items, such as lifebelt e mat. These are delicate objects, which are easily damaged and which are often abandoned and considered unusable. But after having washed, recovered and reworked them, they are transformed into bags, accessories and everyday objects.

    Thus from the inflatable objects for the sea and the beach are born cases, purses, raincoats, hats and much more. The creative recycling in this way it saves from landfills, beaches and the waters of the seas and oceans of materials that are still very precious, resistant and easy to reuse.

    In this way, life jackets, mats and other inflatables will no longer accumulate in unsorted waste after a short summer period of use. Karen has decided to use them as raw material forupcycling. Karen, who lives in Viareggio with her family and her two daughters, is an artist and creative who cares about the environment.

    After seeing the dozens of inflatable objects abandoned on the beaches, one day he decided to try to recover and transform them. Then she brushed up on her fashion and design studies, thanks to which she started give new life to real waste. Thus he creates objects suitable for everyday life or for special moments.

    It collects what it needs on beaches between Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi. Now many bathing establishments are supporting it. By now she has handcrafted hundreds of inflatable mattresses, dinghies, armrests and donuts and she continues to be inspired by their shapes and colors to create unique pieces and fashionable accessories. She will soon open one shop online.
