Birmingham's Banksy solidarity mural was defaced by a vandal who painted two red noses on the reindeer.
A few days ago in Birmingham a beautiful mural by Banksy appeared, "God bless Birmingham", depicting two reindeer next to a bench / sleigh, a Christmas gift that the artist wanted to give to the city to remember the importance of solidarity towards the homeless.
But now two rossi rice they appeared on the reindeer, illegally modified during the night by some vandal.
According to a commuter who passed through Jewelery Quarter on his way to work, a man approached the opera at around 7am to give snacks to a homeless man sitting on the bench.
But the Independent reported that the offense was committed by an artist who had long threatened a similar gesture against Banksy's work, as revealed by Darren Hawkins, editor of The Unseen Scene magazine, who saw him during the night together with other people. Everyone tried to stop him but every attempt proved in vain:
“Everyone thought he was probably joking. But she went through the fence and literally 30 seconds later, she sprayed a red nose on both [the reindeer] very quickly. "
Hawkins explained that a woman tried to stop the vandal but failed and immediately after his escape, he attempted to remove the color from the work, to no avail.
Now the mural has been secured.
