Banksy strikes again and this time without needing to leave the house, since even the street artist has to respect the lockdown caused by the coronavirus. The umpteenth brilliant work of the mysterious artist, in fact, was made in her bathroom! The photo was posted last night on the Instagram profile and in a couple of hours it got over a million likes.
"My wife hates me when I work from home":
this is the ironic caption chosen by Bansky to comment on his artistic gimmick. But how can we not blame his wife?
The shot posted on Instagram shows a bathroom completely turned upside down by a dozen of its iconic mice, which have been cleverly drawn on the walls: the mirror has been moved by two rodents, a mouse runs on the rolled toilet paper as if it were a treadmill , another has stolen hand soap, one pees outside the toilet, while another hangs from a string. Finally, one of the rats - reflected in the mirror - seems intent on marking the days spent in quarantine with a lipstick on the wall.
