According to what is read in the decree which contains provisions to "cope with non-postponable needs related to the epidemiological emergency", therefore, "measures are envisaged in the field of smart working and extraordinary leave for parents of children under fourteen years of age in quarantine cases compulsory for children ".
Transportation
With the legislative decree, an attempt was made to strengthen public transport "in consideration of the evolution of the pandemic situation and the need to remodel the local public transport service, including school transport, in order to ensure that it is provided in accordance with the measures to contain the spread of Covid-19 ".
For this reason, the Regions, the Autonomous Provinces and the local authorities will have the possibility of using, for the financing of additional transport services, the resources provided for by the "August decree", relating to the increase in support for local public transport and the Fund for the exercise of the functions of local authorities.
Interventions for additional spaces
The legislative decree approved by the CDM also contains rules that “simplify the allocation of resources for the refinancing of urgent interventions in the field of safety for school buildings allocated with the decree-law of 26 October 2019, n. 124, which, for a total amount of 25 million euros ".
Finally, funding is provided to local authorities in urgent interventions for works aimed above all at the adaptation and adaptation of environments and spaces for educational purposes, including hired ones.
