Australia, born very rare albino kangaroo puppy like his dad

An extremely rare albino kangaroo was born to an eastern gray kangaroo at Panorama Gardens, a wildlife sanctuary located on the Mornington Peninsula in the Victoria province of Australia.

An extremely rare albino kangaroo was born to an eastern gray kangaroo at Panorama Gardens, a wildlife sanctuary located on the Mornington Peninsula in the Victoria province of Australia.

Just like his dad Marloo, also an albino specimen of gray kangaroo who resides in the Sanctuary, the cute puppy looks all white with pink ears. Albinism in kangaroos occurs in only one in 100.000 individuals and that is why images of the newcomer, who does not yet have a name, are circulating around the world.

Annemaree Van Rooy of Panorama Gardens shared:

The cub has not yet been named because it came out only a couple of weeks ago [...] Here it is safe from all predators being a protected sanctuary where, however, the kangaroos live as if they were in the wild having more than 22 hectares in the their habitat.

Thankfully / unfortunately, due to coronavirus restrictions, visitors are currently not allowed into the sanctuary and fans were only able to admire the puppy via the Panorama Gardens social media page, but the little guy is already a small star with several newspapers. and tabloids, especially British, which made it known to readers.
