The pandemic has taken away many freedoms from us in these terrible months and has left the artists alone: the ban on gatherings has in fact hit cinemas, theaters and other places of culture where you could previously enjoy films, shows and concerts.
The public was deprived of the ability to be public and for this reason in Barcelona it will be replaced by vegetables that will then be donated to health professionals, more than others on the front line against the infection.

Eugenio Ampudia who prepared the event has no doubts: the concert will be original and unique, but above all it will launch a strong social message. It is no coincidence that the string quartet of the 'Gran Teatre Liceu' in Barcelona will perform 'I Crisantemi' by Puccini for a vegetable audience made up of the nurseries in the area just a few days after the end of the lockdown, which was particularly tough in Spain as well.
