There are those who are not good only at Christmas, but all year round in their own small way they try to make the lives of others more joyful. This is the story of Zander Hite, a very special kid who wants to help make the world better.

It all started last Christmas, when Zander's grandfather Daryl gave his grandson $ 20 and told him to use it right, spending it 'to make a difference'.

After thinking about it for a long time, the ten-year-old decided what to do: build wooden toys to give to children in need. In the last year, together with his parents and grandfather he has spent every moment of his book time making them and slowly reached 250.

The toys are cars similar to those he played with as a child and as his grandfather carpenter taught him how to make them with care, Zander also cultivated his passion by learning to work with wood.

He joined the Central Indiana Woodworkers club, becoming the youngest member, given the average age of 60. The club gave him the wheels for the cars and helped build the 250.

“I love making these toys and spending time with my grandfather, we have a lot of fun, laugh and at the same time we can make other children happy,” said Zander.

In short, a little boy who has managed to grasp the true meaning of Christmas and who we are sure will be able with his ideas and good will to make a difference by contributing to the creation of a better world.
