Apocalypse of birds in Mexico: terrible, hundreds of thrushes crashing to the ground

Hundreds of birds suddenly lose their lives, crashing to the ground, terrible images of the massacre in Mexico

The cause of the death of hundreds of birds in the city of Cuauhtémoc, Mexico, which, as can be seen from the terrible images, suddenly fall to the ground remains a mystery.

It happened on February 7 at around 5am. The birds, a flock of yellow-headed thrushes, arrived from Canada to spend the winter season in Mexico. The images, taken by a security camera, show the moment when the animals suddenly lose their lives, crashing to the ground.

The video, which went around the web, caused a stir and raised concerns, as the episode could occur again, affecting other animals or even people.

The site was inspected by the authorities and by a zootechnical veterinarian, who assumed inhalation of toxic gases by the thrushes. Another possible explanation would be the increased voltage of the power lines in the area, which may have hit the flock. The investigations continue, but only the autopsy of the bodies of the poor birds will be able to give an answer.
