It is precisely on French soil that the commercial possibilities of Angora wool were realized for the first time. Here began the yarn production and commercial use. With the consequent exploitation.

    Today, there are five Angora rabbit breeds. The English one is commonly used as a pet, due to its appearance judged to be cute and mischievous. The English is the smallest Angora rabbit among the recognized breeds. It can be either white or with colored spots, and is the only rabbit to have fur-covered eyes.
