It is not always easy to convey what you feel, what you feel. The emotions sometimes they don't even have a name, they are often a difficult mix to put into words. But a young Egyptian artist tried to do this using images.
With its evocative drawings enclosed in the collection eritrea, Ahmed Awad, just 22 years old, tried to put a face on emotions, to describe them. And it is not just about expressions of joy or pain, but also nuances, from the obsession with love towards a man or a woman to the existential problems related to adolescence.
But there is also room for the pain and the sense of emptiness left by mourning, the loss of a loved one.
All this and much more is contained in Ahmed's drawings.
“The main idea behind Eritrea is that of express a specific emotion, feeling or a situation that cannot normally be expressed in words. I know, I chose to do it with drawings. I am passionate about drawing, art and I like to create new styles of contemporary drawing ”explains the young man.

Ahmed is on the hunt for funds to purchase a device that allows him to turn his designs into animated short films and tell the iintricate world of feelings and emotions.
